“Selvin had the kind of season that every player dreams of, and he deserves it,” said Mark Szafran, Cypress Springs boys’ soccer coach. “His commitment to constant improvement really paid off this year. We're really proud of him, and what we've accomplished over the past few years with him.”

Cypress Ranch junior Martin Vila was named First Team All-Region, while Cypress Ranch senior defender Kieran Coull and senior midfielder Jared Shearer were named Second Team All-Region.

“Alexis is such a competitor. Anything she puts her mind to she is going to accomplish,” said Tori Parsons, Cypress Ranch girls’ soccer coach. “She has only played goalie for two years and to make First Team All-Region speaks tremendously about her athleticism.”

Cy-Fair sophomore goalkeeper Kennedy McGill also earned First Team All-Region honors.

“Kennedy had an outstanding year and we are very proud of her. She really made a name for herself this year and I expect to see her continue to improve and reel in additional postseason awards in the future,” said Chad Onhaizer, Cy-Fair girls’ soccer coach.
