Lady Panthers Basketball Dominates District 16-6A

Cypress Springs High School is proud to celebrate an outstanding season for our Lady Panther Basketball program as all three levels captured District 16-6A titles during the 2025–2026 season.

Junior Varsity – District Champions

Our Junior Varsity Lady Panthers finished district play with an impressive 12–1 record and an overall record of 17–2, earning the title of District 16-6A Champions. Their consistency, teamwork, and commitment to excellence set the tone for the entire program.

Freshman – Undefeated District Champions

The Freshman Lady Panthers dominated district competition with a perfect 13–0 record, finishing 18–1 overall. Their undefeated district run highlights the strength of our future Panthers and the depth of talent within the program.

Varsity – District Champions

Our Varsity Lady Panthers also secured the District 16-6A Championship, showcasing grit, leadership, and competitive excellence throughout the season. Their championship performance reflects the hard work of our student-athletes and coaching staff.

Playoff Bound

The Lady Panthers now advance to the 6A Region 2 Division 2 Girls Playoffs. In Round 1 (Bi-District), Cypress Springs will face Magnolia High School on Tuesday, February 17 at 7:00 PM at Cy-Creek High School.

We invite the Cypress Springs community to come out and support our Lady Panthers as they continue their championship journey.
